Art is all about perspective. Anyone can take a picture, but it takes a real artist to evoke emotions and tell a story. Where some see a simple sunset, an artist sees a symphony of light and colour waiting to be frozen in time.
To many, Montreal is just a city—a point on the map next to many other points. With this exhibition, the goal is to delve deeper—to see the city from a new and amazing perspective. This diversity of views is part of what makes Montreal so great. The artists selected to be featured for this exhibition have best demonstrated this fact, and, with their photos, they have told a story about what part of Montreal it is that they love.
